Pupe del Capo – A project blending art, tradition, and urban identity
In collaboration with Fondazione Salvare Palermo, we curated the visual identity of the project “Pupe del Capo”, a cultural initiative that celebrates the beauty, history, and popular soul of the Capo district through contemporary art.
The “Pupe” are symbolic figures inspired by Sicilian tradition, reinterpreted by local and international artists to engage with the urban space—creating a bridge between past and present.
Our agency handled the project’s visual communication: from naming and logo design to informational materials, installations, photographic documentation, and multimedia storytelling.
The result is a powerful identity-driven journey, visible in the alleys and squares of the Capo district, where art and community engagement become tools for cultural regeneration.
An example of how visual communication can tell the story of and enhance a city’s intangible heritage.
